2010: Dr. Andreas Fischer, DKFZ and University of Heidelberg, Medical Faculty of Mannheim


2009: Dr. Gerhard Schratt, University of Heidelberg,
in recognition of his innovative studies on the role of mRNA in neuronal gene regulation. In 2009, Dr. Schratt was appointed as a professor at the University of Marburg


2008: PD Dr. Tobias Dick, DKFZ, Heidelberg,
for his fundamental studies on the role of REDOX-processes in cellular signal transduction.


2007: Dr. Victor Sourjik, ZMBH, University of Heidelberg,
for his fundamental studies on quantitative analysis of molecular interactions in bacterial chemotaxis.


2006: PD Dr. Matthias Kneussel, ZMNH, University Clinic of Hamburg,
for his fundamental work on protein transport processes involved in the formation and plasticity of synapses in the central nervous system.


2006: Dr. Kai Matuschewski, Department of Parasitology, University Hospital of Heidelberg,
for his exceptional work on Plasmodium.
In 2007, Dr. Matuschewski was appointed Professor at the University of Heidelberg.
In 2008 he accepted his appointment as head of the Department of Parasitology at the MPI for Infectiology in Berlin.


2005: PD Dr. Rohini Kuner, Institute for Pharmacology, University of Heidelberg,
for her fundamental research on the function of synaptic proteins in neuronal disease an in memory of pain.
In August 2006 Dr. Kuner was appointed Professor at the University of Heidelberg.
